dreaming of summer

My week has been a series of busy nothings.  I've been finishing a lot of projects, but not too many of them aren't quite ready to be photographed, so I haven't been updating.

Also, the weather is dreary and grey.  The trees and dead plants have had all of their ethereal beauty beaten out of them, and then been rained on.

All in all, I'm longing for summer.

I was organizing my digital files, and ran across a photomerge I created a couple of summers ago, during one of those soft, warm rain showers that go on all day.
I took a series of photos from the tops of the trees to the forest floor, then merged them together in photoshop.
I love the dreamy result.
